If you are looking for a reasonably priced heart-rate monitor patch that measures distance using a footpod (ie how many steps you take) and NOT A GPS receiver, then this might be just the one for you. A great advantage is that you can change the batteries yourself. One of my big gripes with the ones that Polar makes is that you have to send many of them back to the factory or service shop to change batteries. That seems a bit of a ripoff to me.

It has the bells and whistles to measure heart rate, talk with your computer and measure your running speed by counting footstrikes. There is also a men’s version.
